pôster oficial para a banda coreano-estadunidense japanese breakfast com participação especial de built to spill, para seus shows em portland e seattle.
me deixaram bem livre com o trabalho, então tive como inspiração uma de suas músicas que me marcaram muito em sua performance de "paprika" no primavera sound são paulo. fui pesquisar mais sobre as inspirações dela para a música e ela citou uma de minhas animações favoritas, também chamada "paprika" (2006) de satoshi kon. isto e seu ensaio fotográfico com máscaras coreanas 탈 foram minhas principais referências, pois eu queria trazer uma interpretação com elementos coreanos da cena do desfile de kon.
a ilustração foi feita para ser impressa em risografia nas cores paprika (sim!!), hunter green, bisque, sunflower e mint.

i was given a lot of freedom with the work, so i had as inspiration one of her songs that impressed me a lot in her live performance of "paprika" at primavera sound são paulo. i went to research more about her inspirations for the song and she cited one of my favorite animations, also called "paprika" (2006) by satoshi kon. this and her photo essay with korean masks 탈 were my main references, as I wanted to bring an interpretation of korean elements of kon's parade scene.
the illustration has made to be printed in risograph in the colors paprika (yes!!), hunter green, bisque, sunflower and mint.
